About Myself
I have always been drawn to spaces that feel both functional and memorable. Growing up in a small farm town in Colorado, I spent hours rearranging furniture and exploring how environments shape daily life, encouraged by parents who supported my creativity.
That curiosity led me to Colorado State University, where I earned an accredited degree in Interior Design and discovered my passion for hospitality design. Over more than two decades, I have designed interiors for brands including Wynn Resorts, Marriott, Hard Rock, Harrah’s, and Caesars, as well as multi-million-dollar homes and high-end residential remodels.
I am NCIDQ certified and a Registered Interior Designer (RID), and I bring a practical, hands-on approach to every project, balancing aesthetics with real-world functionality. Since 2015, I have worked independently, offering consultations and full-scale residential and short-term rental projects both virtually and in person.
My goal is not to impose a signature style, but to create spaces that feel intentional, cohesive, and aligned with the people who live in them. Contreras Design Studio is boutique by design, taking a limited number of projects each year so every client receives direct attention and thoughtful guidance.
